 JOHN LENNON'S SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES

John himself was known to be very open minded and into 'spiritualism' and is said to have conducted his own séance in his apartment at the Dakota buildings in New York to contact the previous tenants.

On the 23rd August 1974 John Is reported to have seen a UFO while standing on a private part of the roof at his East 52nd Street Apartment with May Pang. John Lennon refers to the experience on the cover of his album "Walls and Bridges", which was released in 1974.

The Author Geoffrey Giuliano of “Lennon in America” based his information for his book on sources close to Lennon and on the singer's personal diaries, which circulated shortly after his death and were then retrieved by his widow, Yoko Ono. He says in the final years the man best known for his lines "Imagine there's no heaven / It's easy if you try" was living a life dictated by astrologers, numerologists, clairvoyants, psychics, herbalists, and tarot-card readers.
