EVP (White Noise)

It is not generally known that in the 1920s one of the worlds most respected scientists and inventor Thomas Alva Edison whose track record include electric light, the phonograph and moving pictures tried to invent a machine that would communicate with the dead. Thinking this was possible, he wrote: "If our personality survives, then it is strictly logical or scientific to assume that it retains memory, intellect, other faculties, and knowledge that we acquire on this Earth. Therefore … if we can evolve an instrument so delicate as to be affected by our personality as it survives in the next life, such an instrument, when made available, ought to record something.

Edison never succeeded with the invention but it seems he did believe that it might be possible to capture disembodied voices with a machine. Electronic Voice Phenomena or EVP refers to voices belonging to spirit or the deceased appearing on Audio recordings. Spirit can take random white noise generated by electronic and form from it words.

After the Reading at Café La Fortuna a decision was made to have the expert listen to the EVP. Sandra Belanger Anthropologist and EVP expert has stated that this message is a Class A Electronic voice Phenomena. Class A is a voice that can be heard without any kind of headphones is clearly audible and the message is clear to anyone listening to it.
